Application forms for the many schemes run by the Education Department; eligibility and documents differ for each scheme.
What it is
This department runs schemes for students such as scholarships, free textbooks, uniforms, learning material and school facilities. This is a set of forms covering different schemes. Eligibility, benefits and documents differ for every scheme and can change, so no single rule or list is given here for all schemes.
What it is used for
- To see and download this department's official scheme forms
- To understand from official information which scheme your family could consider
Documents usually needed (guidance)
Please confirm the final list of documents at your Gram Panchayat office. This list is general guidance, not an official list of legal conditions.
- The form of the scheme you choose
- The documents named in that scheme's official information — they differ from scheme to scheme
- Identity and residence proof (many schemes ask for them)
How to apply
- Open the file, find the scheme you want and read its eligibility and conditions.
- Students' applications are mostly submitted through the school, so ask the headmaster first. Criteria such as class, attendance and family income may apply depending on the scheme.
- Fill in the form and submit it at the office named for the scheme.
- After submitting, take an acknowledgement or inward number and keep a copy of the application.
Where to apply
The school and Panchayat Samiti (Block Education Officer's office) (the Gram Panchayat also gives first guidance)
Fee and time
Any fee is fixed by the Government or by law and is taken against an official receipt. No amount or time limit is stated here. If the service is notified, confirm its time limit on the Aaple Sarkar portal or at the Gram Panchayat office.
Please note
Applying does not guarantee the benefit; the department decides eligibility. Do not pay anyone unofficial money for a scheme.
